Another Family Reunion

We spent last weekend camping, Up North at Higgins Lake. We went for Mommy's family reunion. She has a HUGE family, I mean really, I'll never learn all the names. But camping was fun, except that on Sunday morning there was a big storm, and so they had to pack up everything wet, which is no fun. Here are some pictures from the weekend:

In the center there is Grandma Sandy, Grandpa Dick and Me. Also, Daddy is of to the right. It will take me the rest of my life to learn the names of all those other people!

Did I mention that Mommy comes from a REALLY big family??

Our buddies the Aldermans were up at Higgins too, so they came visited after I went to bed :(

There was a thunderstorm the morning before we packed up. It was very wet!

My new toy!

I found this new toy, it's called a "laundry basket"....

And I can just push it around as much as I want!

In my excitement, I kept falling over!

Camping

We went camping last weekend for the first time, well, it was MY first time, anyway. We went with our good friends, the Aldermans. Lily is my sweetheart. She's very cute, and you know what she can do?? She can walk! It's pretty amazing to me. I'm not sure how she does it, but I'm committed to learning. Don't want to look like a fool around her, you know!

Anyway, camping was lots of fun. And I slept great the whole time!

Here's Daddy and me at the beach on Saturday when we were camping. It was really hot, so the water felt good (once I got used to it!).

Mommy got me this beach tent thingy to keep me out of the sun, so I played in that when we were at the beach.

Here I am after my swim, we were packing up to go back to the campsite. You like my terry cloth hoody?? Daddy says I look like a Jedi knight. Does that mean I get a light sabor?

It took quite a bit of doing on Mommy's part, but she finally got a few shots of Lily, my sweety. I tried to impress her by smiling and lunging at her...it didn't seem to work.

Even though she's in the shadows, I still think this is good picture of Lily.

Here we are altogether. Lily was so struck by my dashing good looks that she forgot to look at the camera. At least, that's MY story!

My Fourth of July weekend

As you may or may not know, we spent the Fourth with Paw Paw Eddie and Grandma Sue. We went to a family reunion on Sunday afternoon, but me and Mommy and Daddy didn't know many people, so Mommy mostly took pictures of me.....hehe....just like always.

We went swimming Sunday evening, and I got to use my new lady-bug floaty.....once I got over my nervousness, it was really fun! Mommy's hoping I love the water as much as she does, so she's getting me used to it now.

The night we got there, I really needed a bath, but there was no tub there. So, I bathed in the sink. Mommy wasn't sure I'd fit at first, 'cause I'm such a big boy!

It was hard for Mommy to keep me sitting and still....it was a quick bath!

Even though there were lots of toys, I still tried to climb behind the cabinet....actually, I was after the kitties' toys. Mommy says it figures....

Paw Paw Eddie being silly!!

At the family reunion, I played (er, chewed on) this ball....

...and played with Grandma Sue's cane (she hurt her ankle a while ago).....

And I also tried to eat this green bottle stuff....

Here's proof that we were at the reunion! Paw Paw is in the back row with dark hair and the blue shirt, and Great-Aunt Deb (also known as Auntie PITA), is there in the front in green.

Here's me and Mommy and Daddy, again, I didn't bother looking at the camera, too bright!

We went swimming after the reunion. The sun is shining right into our faces, so it was really hard to look at the camera....I didn't bother.

Mommy and Daddy hope this is proof that I'll be a musician...

Here I am on Uncle Keith's lap. I wasn't really in the mood to sit still, but I like Uncle Keith, so it was okay!

They thought it was funny that I smile for the camera, drool and all! (by the way, my nose does NOT look this orange in person, Mommy can't figure out why it looks like this in the picture)

Monday, on our way home, we stopped at Auntie Jen and Uncle Keith's house. They had lots of cool new stuff for me to get into!
