A day at the park
The day after Bubby's party, we went to the park near Auntie Michelle's house. It was really nice outside and so I got pulled in my
new wheels.
Of course, if we are going to a park, I MUST swing. How could I not?
Here's Auntie Michelle. She's pretty cool, I think.
Really, you need to try this sometime! It's so fun!
She's just so funny!!
Daddy and Auntie Michelle helped me down the slide, but I just don't get it. Is this supposed to be fun?
Daddy then tried sliding with me, but I guess his legs are too long for the slide, because we got stuck.
This was my first time actually playing on a beach, with sand. This stuff is SO fascinating!! But, it doesn't taste good, just so you know.
I found this really INTERESTING thing called a "rock". I really like it, I will love him and pat him and call him George.
It's really hard to crawl in this stuff, PLUS carry my new pet rock.

Cousin Bubby's Graduation Party
Now, I'll warn you, Mommy, for some reason, didn't get ANY pictures of Bubby at his own party....she was busy talking and keeping up with me....but we did have fun, here are some highlights.
Here's me hanging out with Grandpa Dick. He's a big dude, Mommy says, and that's where I get a lot of my huge-ness.
Here's my second-cousin-once-removed (or, my mommy's cousin's daughter) giving me a kiss....she's going to have twin little brothers in October!! (what are brothers?)
Whatever this stuff is, it comes with cool cups to play with!!
Mommy and Daddy said I'm not old enough for this stuff yet, but Auntie Michelle's friends thought it was REALLY good.
This is me and my great-grandma! (That's Mommy's grandma.) She has tons of great-grand children, but she likes me a lot!
I hung out with Daddy in the grass during the party, when I wasn't being passed from one person to another!
I inspected lots of interesting things I found on the ground!
Here's a picture of Daddy. Someone told Mommy she never puts pictures of him online (that's so no one will try to steal him from her!). But, I convinced her to put this one picture on here!

Nine Months
This is the best nine-month giraffe picture Mommy could get. I was a wiggle worm!! I guess the orange blanket really brings out the orange of my nose, huh? (Mommy was a bit late in taking this one, I was actually 9 months and 2 weeks...oops!)
My weekend with PawPaw Eddie and Grandma Sue
PawPaw Eddie and Grandma Sue came to see me this past weekend. Although it was hot and icky outside, we still got to go to the park and SWING!!! WEEEEEE!!! I also got to try out my new wheels and just hang out a bit with them.
They brought me some new Little People animals for my Noah's Ark set. Here I'm chewing on Mrs. Alligator, she and her husband are my favorites!
I like to tear the door off my Leap Frog Learning Table and play with it. Who cares if its supposed to be attached?
Peekaboo!
PawPaw was teasing me by laying on my blue thingy (what is that thing called, anyway?)
Look, no hands!! Mommy is demonstrating that I can stand by myself (sometimes, as long as I'm holding onto something!)
Mommy is happy because I no longer try to eat the books she reads to me!
I'm pulling myself up, too! That means that I can finally reach all that good stuff on the coffee table! Yeah!
I love my drum!! Mommy and Daddy found this for me last week.
And, of course, SWINGING!!! I love swinging!!
This is my new set of wheels. Mommy and Daddy bought it for their anniversary present. So, it's sort of mine, sort of their's...whatever, I think it's pretty cool!!
My Nine Month Photos
I just had to have a picture with Doodah.
You'd never believe I'd been sick all week, would you?
Mommy likes this one because I'm raising one eyebrow....

At the Beach
Daddy and Mommy decided we should go to the beach yesterday, since it was almost 90 degrees out. It was SO MUCH FUN!! We did lots of cool stuff! See.....
I sat in my stroller, while Mommy and Daddy had sandwiches. I'm still teething, so I snacked on my foam blocks. Mmm...foam.
I kept trying to get to that interesting green and brown stuff, but Daddy kept catching me.
Me and Daddy, hangin' at the beach. (That's Lake Huron, if you're wondering)
Mommy said she'd take me swimming sometime this summer. Anyone know what swimming is??
WEEEEE!!! hahahaha....no wonder swings are so popular...THIS IS GREAT!
Wow is this fun!!!
Mommy bunched our beach blanket around me to hold me steady. It seemed to help a little!
They really need to make the seats smaller. And that's saying a lot coming from me!
The slide was fun, but not as much as the swing!
Yes, random girls coming to give me kisses! (Don't worry, Lily, she means nothing to me!)
Mommy said this was called "grass". I like the way it feels! Very interesting.....
Patty-cake, Patty-cake, baker's men!
This park is really fun! You should join us sometime! Maybe we'll go swimming.
This "grass" as Mommy calls it, is pretty cool stuff!
I kept trying to eat these funny things, but Daddy kept taking them away before I could taste them.
I was prettty getting pretty tired out, after all the fresh air and playing. Mommy and Daddy promised we'd come back a lot this summer!

My week in review
Me and Mommy have been out of town all week, because Mommy hurt her ankle and so we went to Grammie and Grandpa's house so they could help her. Since we couldn't post pictures, here is my week in review.
I had a bit of a cough the week before last, but Mommy thought it was just a little cold. By Monday it was a lot worse, and so she took me to a new doctor who lives by my grandparents. She said I had a double ear infection and gave me medicine, but it took a while to kick in. I was really grumpy and whiney, mostly because my ears hurt, and I'm teething again, my eye teeth. Then, on Friday, Mommy got me some Hyland's teething tablets. The last time I got an ear infection, I was teething my top front teeth. Mommy thinks they are connected: the ear infections and the upper teeth.
Despite the grumpiness, a lot happened this week for me: I took my first couple attempts at crawling; I learned Patty-cake, and will clap along; and I got my nine month pictures taken.
We started the week by going to Ohio, so everyone could see my cousin/uncle (he's 18 years older than me, but actually a cousin) Bubby graduate. I had a little cough at this point, but nothing major. I liked my Auntie Michelle's dog, Ella. She has cool toys, but for some reason, every time I got one, someone would take it away. You can see Mommy's ouchy foot in this picture.
This is Ripley (that's her last name), she's cute! She is a friend of my cousin/uncle Bubby. She graduated from high school this year, like Bubby did. I think she might be a little old for me!
Although I didn't feel so good and my nose was always running (notice Doodah is icky), I did sleep pretty good, sometimes for three hours.
